Murray Wood: Western separation talk borders on the absurd
Western separation isn't new, as Murray Wood reminds us. From fringe parties in the 1980s to bizarre border ideas today,...
Emergency crews had to pull a truck driver out of the cab of his semi following a collision Thursday night on Highway 16.
The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a call just before 9 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 16 and Auction Mart Road.
They found the semi-trailer laying on its side after an apparent collision with a taxi cab.
Firefighters took the semi’s windshield off and pulled out the driver.
Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt.
It took some time for crews to clear lumber from the semi that was strewn across the highway in the crash.
