The Lighthouse Supported Living is delaying renovations in order to fix its boilers.
Two of the facility’s five boilers went down recently, with a third showing signs of being near failure.
Lighthouse executive director Don Windels said they’ve pulled the $84,000 needed for the repairs from funds earmarked to renovate suites.
“What it does is it will just delay that renovation until we can get the funds,” he said.
Windels said they hope to recoup the money through fundraising and private donations.
