Regina police have seized meth, a substance believed to be cocaine, and firearm ammunition after pulling over a vehicle and arresting a man Monday morning.
Police said, at approximately 10:20 a.m., officers saw a vehicle with a passenger recognized as being wanted for arrest. Police were successful in making a traffic stop, pulling over the vehicle on the northbound side of the 1400 block of Pasqua Street by Dewdney Avenue. As officers approached the vehicle, the passenger attempted to push the driver out of the vehicle and drive away. Officers were then able to get control of the suspect, and was taken into custody.
The investigation led to the recovery of a stolen vehicle and a stolen license plate.
