Justin LaBrash brought the gift of song to pediatrics at the Regina General Hospital.
The local singer performed a variety of Christmas carols for a couple of children in the activity centre of pediatrics.
LaBrash spent some time in the pediatric unit when he was younger and wanted to bring some Christmas cheer to some of the hospital’s youngest patients.
“When you thought you were just way at the bottom and somebody just comes and helps you kind of put a smile on your face, it definitely helped me,” the 17-year-old singer said.
Jeanette Duncan was happy to see a smile on her nine-year-old daughter Taylor’s face.
“It’s always good to see her with a smile on her face because up here they’re few and far between some days,” Jeanette Duncan.
LaBrash also walked up and down the halls of pediatrics to bring carols to kids who were in isolated care and weren’t able to leave their rooms.
