Two youths have been charged after a 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with numerous injuries.
On Dec. 30, 2016, police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Cameron Street around 3:35 a.m. for a report of a group of people assaulting a person with weapons.
Police said officers arrived and saw three people running from the scene. A canine team tracked the suspects to a house on the 1000 block of Retallack Street where a 15-year-old girl was taken into custody.
Two other suspects were tracked to a house on the 600 block of Robinson Street and two teenage boys, ages 16 and 17, were taken into custody.
A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with numerous injuries.
A 28-year-old woman was also arrested at the house on an unrelated charge.
The teens cannot be named as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
A 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy, both from Regina, have been charged with aggravated assault. Both appeared in Youth Court on Dec. 30, 2016.
Amanda Dayle Wasacase, 28, was charged with a breach of an undertaking. She made her first appearance in court Monday.
