Electrical fire leads to severe damage to multi-unit home in Saskatoon

Damage is pegged at nearly $200,000 after a fire in Saskatoon.

Crews were dispatched around 2:00 p.m. Monday and found a single story complex in the 700 block of Avenue R North with smoke coming from the attic.

They were able to contain the blaze and everyone got out safe.

An investigator determined the fire was due to an electrical problem.

Residents are not yet allowed back inside.
