Not having a permanent or consistent roof over their heads in extremely cold weather is a matter of life or death for Regina’s homeless.

Temperatures have been in the -20s C, with wind chills dipping down to the -30s C and -40s C.

Frostbite can happen on exposed skin within a matter of minutes.

But what happens when someone’s outside for hours?

In today’s ‘Martel on the Move’ 980 CJME’s Kevin Martel stopped by a shelter where a man without a home shared his story of struggle, stress and hope.
