Saskatoon police said the death of a 22-year-old woman in Saskatoon has been ruled accidental following an autopsy Thursday.
The woman was found dead in the 1500 block of 20th Street West early New Year’s Day.
Her name will not be released at the request of the family.
Police said based on the autopsy results – along with evidence from the scene and interviews conducted by officers – investigators have determined foul play was not involved.
Toxicology results are still pending.
The investigation is now in the hands of the Office of the Chief Coroner of Saskatchewan.
