Regina police continue to investigate a shooting in the south end of the city.
Officers were called to the 2900 block of Parliament Avenue and the 3900 block of Robinson Street around 2:43 p.m. Monday for a report of shots fired.
Bullets had punctured a car and a window of an apartment building nearby.
Police believe two vehicles were involved and are described as the following:
A silver-grey truck with an extended cab, possibly a Chevy Silverado, left driving southbound on Robinson Street and then westbound on parliament Avenue. Police believe there were two people in the truck.
The second vehicle is described as a four-door black car, possibly a Dodge Charger, with tinted black windows and left the scene driving eastbound in the alley. Officers said it’s not clear if there was anyone other than the driver in the vehicle.
Police said the initial investigation indicated both vehicles were in the alley north of Parliament Avenue and west of Robinson Street. They add it’s believed the truck emerged onto Robinson Street and then shots were fired.
Both vehicles fled the area.
Police say it’s unknown who was shooting at whom but they believe a number of shots were fired.
There are no known injuries as a result of the incident.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact police or you can remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers.
