Several school divisions in and around Regina have cancelled buses due to extreme cold.
The Prairie Valley School Division reported that buses were cancelled, but schools are open in Balgonie, Bethune, Edenwold, Grand Coulee, Lumsden, Milestone, Pense, Pilot Butte, Regina, Regina Beach and White City. Buses are operating in the rest of the school division.
Both Regina Public Schools and Regina Catholic Schools cancelled buses, but reported that all schools were open.
Laval High School and Luther High School also have reported buses are not running.
Regina Transit tweeted out all of their high school buses are running.

School Buses for Prairie South Schools (including Mooose Jaw and Assiniboia) were cancelled.
Buses were also cancelled for Standing Buffalo school in Fort Qu’Appelle.
Piapot First Nation school is closed.
The Southeast Cornerstone School Division is reporting buses for Lampman, Oxbow and Maryfield are cancelled. In Weyburn, one bus is cancelled and in Estevan, three have been cancelled.
Bus cancellations occur when there is a windchill below -45 C.
