After clawing back to win against Prince Albert Saturday night, the Pats blew past the Raiders with relative ease Sunday afternoon.
Sam Steel and Connor Hobbs both earned three points in the 5-1 win on the Raiders home ice.
It was a different Pats team then the one that allowed four goals in the first period against the same team the night before. Sam Steel started the Pats scoring in the first, and goaltender Max Paddock, in just his third start of the season, held the line.
The Raiders tied things up 1-1 seven minutes into the second period, but that’s where the scoring would end for Prince Albert. The Pats came back with two more courtesy of Filip Ahl and Connor Hobbs and entered the second intermission up by two goals.
In the third period Connor Hobbs and Dawson Leedahl scored seven seconds apart to seal the deal for Regina.
Paddock, in for the injured Tyler Brown, continued his strong showing stopping 33 of 34 shots in the game. He’s now won all three games he’s played.
The Pats next match up is Friday night at the Brandt Centre versus Medicine Hat.
