Police believe a series of robberies at restaurants in Regina might be related.
Police said six cases have taken place in the past months, usually late at night. The locations are scattered across the city, including ones on Broad Street, Broadway Avenue, Albert Street and University Park Drive.
The first of the incidents happened in mid-October 2016, with the most recent robbery believed to have been taken place in December.
While some details in each case vary, investigators believe the cases may be related.
The robberies typically occurred after 11 p.m. and included threats with a firearm, or other weapons, and a demand for money from the staff.
No employees or patrons have been injured, but there is great concern due to the weapons involved.
Police said suspect descriptions differ between the cases, leading officers to believe multiple people are involved.
Police said the suspects make off with cash and likely leave the area using vehicles.
Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to contact police at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
