We all know that Chick, Dressler and Durant jerseys have been very popular in the past, but now what?
I’d have to think Rob Bagg jerseys still sell. Fans can’t go wrong with number six. Bagg is a current playmaker with a tie to past glory.
The same could be said for number 66, Chris Best, as he enters his tenth year with the Riders.
There are those fans that may like the born-and-bred Sask. boys. What about 42, Graig Newman, or 46, Jorgen Hus?
Perhaps number nine – Nic Demski – will bring the crowd to its feet in his third year.
But in the end, the fact that this is even a discussion may mean fans have to stick with numbers such as 34 or 23 – in honour of a time when there was no doubt as to who were the stars of this team.
