Regina has a new member in the centenarian club.
Katherine Zazulak was honoured by her friends and fellow residents at the Renaissance Retirement Residence as she was presented flowers and a cake to mark her 100th birthday.
What’s her advice for living to the century mark?
“Moderation is the answer for everything. If you do that you have a better chance of getting where I am because I’ve been very ordinary,” she revealed. “I just do my thing like anybody else. How I got here I don’t know. But anyway, I guess they weren’t ready for me yet.”
Reflecting back on her life and what makes her the most proud, Zazulak spoke of her three children, in addition to the husband she lost 37 years ago.
She’s not even the oldest individual in the facility, as another resident recently turned 100.
