The $1.33M rent reduction comes from what the club owed during seasons impacted by the pandemic.
The province has provided an update about the oil spill in southeast Saskatchewan.
As of Wednesday, approximately 174,000 of the 200,000 litres of oil that leaked from a pipeline has been removed from the site. Work to clean up affected soil continues.
The breach was first discovered on Jan. 20 by a resident of Ocean Man First Nation; the province learned of the leak later that day.
The Saskatchewan government also confirmed the source of the leak was a Tundra Energy pipeline. The company initially took the lead on the cleanup knowing the affected pipeline may or may not be theirs until excavation Wednesday.
The line will be cut and removed as early as Thursday, and transferred to a testing facility.
The Ministry of the Economy will provide further details once they become available.
