A man has been taken to hospital following a workplace accident at Midtown Plaza shopping centre.
Police were called to the mall just before 10 a.m. Monday.
In a release, police stated the man was injured while an escalator was under repair. He was taken to Royal University Hospital, police didn’t disclose the extent of his injuries.
The release noted Occupational Health and Safety are investigating.
