Two taken to hospital after Saskatoon Fire Department called to river

Two people are receiving medical treatment after they were spotted in the river Monday morning.
 
The Saskatoon Fire Department’s water rescue team was called just before 10 a.m. to the riverbank near the Mendel Art Gallery.
 
 Two people were already out of the water and standing on the curb along Spadina Crescent by the time crews arrived.
 
The fire department reminded the public to stay off the river ice.
