Losing doesn’t look good on LeBron James.
Lashing out at Charles Barkley, going through transgression after transgression of Barkley’s career in response to Barkley’s criticism and I’ll say fair criticism of the NBA star.
James and the Cavaliers lost more than they won in January and that’s rare and unprecedented in James’ career.
And after James criticized his management and owners for not putting enough around him to win, again, Barkley called him out. Called him out for forcing management to pay the price for depth players like JR Smith and Tristan Thomson, as well as spending the money to have Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love in Cleveland. With injuries, that’s meant the bench is depleted.
Oh, don’t forget LeBron also opted out of his deal after the championship to get more money. Oh, and the Cleveland Cavaliers spend more money than any other team by $13 million.
And LeBron is going to whine and, like Barkley, said he is a whiner. He’s going to whine that the team isn’t doing enough to surround him with talent.
LeBron deserves the criticism but he should also learn how to take it.
