'Considering the circumstances ... this is best-case scenario,' Cole Cusitar said.
Saskatoon police are looking for a man who allegedly tried to rob the Hose and Hydrant off-sale on 11th Street East.
The suspect reportedly walked into the off-sale around 5 p.m. Tuesday and demanded cash. He then allegedly sprayed bear mace before taking off empty-handed.
He’s described as six feet tall, with a slim build and was allegedly wearing a black mask, grey toque, black-and-grey gloves, white high-top sneakers and grey sweatpants.
Police said two employees working at the time were exposed to the bear spray, but didn’t need medical treatment.
