A pair of teenagers are facing charges after allegedly assaulting another teen with a knife.
Around 11:45 p.m. Thursday night, police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Angus Street for a report of an assault. It was reported three men assaulted a man with a knife and one allegedly choked the man.
When police arrived at the location, there were no suspects or victim in the area.
Police were able to locate the 16-year-old victim who had non-life threatening injuries.
An investigation led to the arrest of two 16-year-old Regina boys.
A third man suspected to be involved has not yet been located by police.
The teens cannot be named in accordance with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice act.
One of the teens is charged with assault with a weapon.
The other teen is charged with assault with a weapon and choke/strangle another person to overcome resistance.
One teen will make his first appearance in Provincial Youth Court on these charges on February 6, 2017, while the other appears on March 15, 2017.
