Buses cancelled in Regina and area as extreme cold moves in

Extreme cold temperatures have school divisions in Regina and area cancelling their buses.

Schools remain open, but all student transportation is cancelled for Regina public and Catholic schools, as well as buses for Luther College High School.

Prairie Valley Schools has cancelled bus routes for its schools in the Regina area, including: 

• Balgonie
• Bethune
• Edenwold
• Grand Coulee
• Lumsden
• Milestone
• Pemse
• Pilot Butte
• Regina
• Regina Beach
• White City

The Prairie South Division cancelled some routes for: 

• Assiniboia 
• Avonlea 
• Bengough 
• Central Butte 
• Chaplin 
• Coronach 
• Craik 
• Eyebrow 
• Glentworth 
• Gravelbourg 
• Kincaid 
• Lafleche 
• Mankota 
• Mortlach 
• Mossbank 
• Rockglen 
• Rouleau

The Cornerstone School Division has cancelled some of its routes. 

In the Chinook School Division, all buses are running in the city of Swift Current. The school division has cancelled some of its rural routes, specifically for Success and Hazlet schools.   

All schools in all divisions are open, except Piapot School.
