A Saskatchewan jewelry company that now runs out of Winnipeg called Park and Buzz has sent over 160 pairs of earrings to the stars for the Grammys!
Owner, Amanda Park told the CJME Morning Show her company started after the film industry died down in Regina and that she started selling a variety of items at an art show.
“Had some jewelry that I had worked up, brought it to my art show and just said let’s see what happens,” said Park.
“Almost everything sold out that night and I thought maybe I have something here!”
She added that she’s thrilled that the company will be getting noticed by A-list celebrities and hopes that it will also help support the charity she donates money to from each jewelry item sold.
“Also just to be able to give back, we support 32 orphans so I’d like to increase that.”
She added that she set herself a goal to double the number of orphans the company sponsors by the end of the year.
The swag bags are given to attendees, performers, and guests and have a variety of items this year including an adult bib, Crayola crayons, and even a cushion to reduce cellulite on your butt. The bags are worth $30,000 a piece.
