Two men are facing a list of charges after an early morning heist at a Saskatoon convenience store.
Officers responded to an armed robbery on the 3700 block of Diefenbaker Drive around 4:20 a.m. Tuesday.
A lone man reportedly entered the store with a handgun, demanding cash and cigarettes.
Afterwards, he was seen getting into a waiting car – which nearly hit a woman outside the store while driving off.
A witness told police the suspect shot his firearm into the air.
No one was injured during the incident.
Police said they were able to pull the vehicle over in the 3300 block of Centennial Drive and arrest two people without incident.
A firearm was found inside the vehicle.
Two men, ages 37 and 38, both face firearm, robbery and assault charges in connection with the incident.
The 38-year-old faces additional charges of obstruction, and breaching court and probation orders.
Saskatoon police said the investigation is ongoing.
