Emergency crews responded to a major collision on Circle Drive East near Attridge Drive in Saskatoon Wednesday.
An apparent head-on crash involving a car and a semi shut down traffic in the area near Preston Crossing around 5:15 p.m.
Firefighters were seen working to extract the driver of a small blue car. The person was reportedly taken to hospital by ambulance.
Traffic was immediately slowed and detoured around the scene.
At 5:30 p.m., Saskatoon police told 650 CKOM northbound lanes would be shut down on Circle Drive and College, as well as Circle Drive and 108th Street.
