Regina police are investigating Wednesday’s shooting in North Central that sent one man to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Officers were sent to a home on the 1300 block of Athol Street around 3:30 p.m., where they found an 18-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken to hospital by EMS, as police safely got the remaining people out of the house.
The forensic identification unit gathered evidence, while investigators got a search warrant for the property. Animal control officers also had to be called to take custody of two dogs.
Police said a sawed-off shotgun and a bag of ammunition were among items seized from inside the home.
