A 52-year-old British Columbia man is facing drug charges after being stopped on the Trans-Canada Highway west of Sintaluta, Sask.
RCMP said Indian Head and Broadview Traffic Services members pulled the man over around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday for allegedly speeding past an emergency vehicle with its lights on.

The man was arrested and charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking. He appeared in court in Fort Qu’Appelle Thursday morning. He is scheduled to appear in court in Regina on Feb. 28.
