It’s been a good year for Saskatchewan’s Colter Wall.
The 21-year-old musician from Swift Current was featured as one of 10 country artists to watch for in Rolling Stone magazine last year.
And now, his country crooning is making its way to the Oscars.
Wall’s song, Sleeping on the Blacktop, appeared in the movie Hell or High Water. While his song is not nominated for an award itself, the movie is a contender for Best Picture at Sunday night’s Academy Awards.
