The Saskatoon Blades were shutout 2-0 at home by Moose Jaw on Sunday.
Zach Sawchenko shut the door with 29 stops as the Blades could not solve the 19-year-old netminder.
Luka Burzan and Justin Almeida scored in the first and third periods.
The Blades are two points back of Calgary for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. The Hitmen are hosting Moose Jaw Sunday night.
Next up for the Blades is a home date with Kootenay on Friday, Mar. 3.
