Voters in Saskatoon-Meewasin will elect a new MLA Thursday.
Five people are vying for the seat, with early polls showing a tight race between New Democrat Ryan Meili and the Sask. Party’s Brent Penner.
Other candidates include Liberal Darrin Lamoureux, Progressive Conservative David Prokopchuk and Green Party leader Shawn Setyo.
The seat was previously held by Sask. Party MLA Roger Parent, who died in November 2016.
Polls open at 9 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
Canadian citizens at least 18 years of age who live in the constituency are eligible to vote, provided they lived in Saskatchewan for at least six months prior to Feb. 3
