A man who allegedly ran across Circle Drive North on Friday morning is now facing charges.
Saskatoon police say a 40-year-old man was distracting drivers with a placard at the intersection of Circle Drive and Avenue C at around 10:10 a.m.
When an officer stopped the man and asked for identification, police say he refused and ran across six lanes of traffic.
Officers caught up after a short foot pursuit and placed the man under arrest.
He’s now charged with two jaywalking-related offences, stunting and obstruction.
The man was also wanted on five outstanding warrants and for breaching conditions of an undertaking.
