The cause of a fire that severely damaged a North Central home has been determined.
Regina Fire and Protective Services concluded the fire at 936 Argyle Street was unintentional and caused by unattended cooking.
Firefighters were called to the scene around 5:08 p.m. Wednesday and arrived within minutes. One witness told 980 CJME flames were shooting through the windows.
One person was home at the time and was able to escape without injury.
The cost of the damage is unknown.
