The snow couldn’t keep people away from the 66th annual Sports and Leisure Show at Praireland Park Sunday morning.
Hundreds of people turned out to get a glimpse of the boats, quads, and RVs and get ready for warmer weather.
“I wanted to see what’s new in the industry,” said Victor, who’s a hunting and fishing enthusiast.
“My wife and I look forward to the show every year, but I don’t know if we’ll buy a boat today.”
Despite Victor not wanting a boat, others are at least considering it.
“If you’re buying a boat you get to shop around because everyone is at this show,” said boat salesman Neil McLeod.
“We’ve had a nice early spring and everyone is excited to get back on the water.”

Fishing rods were also popular as some of the newest technology was showcased.
“People just want to get back out on the water because you’re more mobile than ice fishing,” said fishing rod salesman Terry Ewanchyna.
“I love this show because everybody is starting to get excited about summer activities.”
