A teacher at Estevan Comprehensive School has been arrested and charged with sex crimes allegedly involving three teenage girls.
Estevan police said the investigation began when officials at the South East Cornerstone Public School Division contacted police on Feb. 8 with allegations of inappropriate conduct by a teacher at the school.
Troy Ruzicka, 42, was arrested March 3 after police executed various search warrants and conducted interviews.
Ruzicka has been charged with five counts of child luring, three counts of sexual exploitation, one count of aggravated sexual assault, one count of sexual assault, one count of transmission of child pornography and one count of accessing child pornography.
He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
