Police surrounded a home on the 700 block McCormack Road at 5:30 a.m. after a reported disturbance.
A woman and several children were safely removed by police, but a man continued to make threats to officers and alluded to having a firearm.
Police entered the home around 12:45 p.m. and arrested the 29-year-old. No weapons were found inside the residence.
The man is facing several charges including domestic assault, uttering threats and breaching a conditional sentencing order.
