A car chase on 8th Street early Saturday morning has led to several charges for a 27-year-old man.
At 12:20 a.m. Saskatoon police saw a stolen car on 8th Street near Preston Avenue.
Officers attempted to pull over the car at Moss Ave, but the driver sped away heading west on 8th.
According to police the driver hit someone at 8th and Arlington and got out and ran.
Police caught up with the man close by and arrested him.
The man is charged with possession of stolen property, evade police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, fail to stop at the scene of an accident and failing to comply with court conditions.
He’s set to appear in front a Justice of the Peace Saturday.
