Only two days into spring and already winter weather is reappearing across the province.
Environment Canada issued snowfall warnings Wednesday morning for northern areas, including Meadow Lake, Buffalo Narrows, La Ronge, Prince Albert National Park and Creighton.
The weather agency said up to 15 centimetres of snow was possible for those areas by Thursday morning.
Other areas are dealing with freezing rain, prompting warnings for the areas around Lloydminister, North Battleford and Kindersley.
The weather agency said the band of freezing rain was expected to push towards the Unity, Cut Knike and Biggar areas by mid-morning. It warned of slippery highway conditions until temperatures rise above freezing.
