Regina police executed a search warrant at a home on the 1300 block of Winnipeg Street early Sunday resulting in the SWAT team being called in.
Police said this was part of an investigation into the possession of weapons.
The SWAT team attended the scene due to the potential of weapons at the home. The Crisis Negotiators Unit, Canine Unit, plain clothes officers and patrol members also attended.
Police said seven people exited the residence without incident. The home was then searched by investigators.
No charges have been laid.
