Two men are facing charges after a dangerous driving incident in Regina’s north end where one man allegedly had a throwing star.
Police were dispatched to the 3900 block of Rochdale Boulevard for a report of reckless driving just after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
When officers arrived, they watched a vehicle matching a description provided by a witness leaving a parking lot.
Police said the vehicle exceeded the speed limit and broke several traffic laws on a busy street and through a busy intersection.
Officers patrolled the area and located the vehicle on the 6000 block of Wellband Drive.
Two men were arrested. The passenger was allegedly carrying a throwing star.
Cze-Sand Bannab, 19, is charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and breach of undertaking.
Keith Campbell Schell, 27, is charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and breach of probation.
Bannab appeared in court Wednesday morning. Schell is scheduled to appear in provincial court May 3.
