Second-degree murder charges have been laid in the death of a woman in northern Saskatchewan.
Deschambault RCMP says 44-year-old Daniel Moses Ballantyne is also facing a charge of improperly interfering with a human body after Melinda Charles, 47, was found dead.
Police say the two knew each other.
Ballantyne has a court appearance scheduled for Friday in La Ronge.
