One man is in custody following a standoff in downtown Moose Jaw.
Police said the incident took place at the intersection of Manitoba Street West and Main Street North just after 3 p.m. Sunday.
A man was standing in the street with what police believed at the time was a handgun. At one point it was pointed it at police. Later, police said it was a BB gun.
At this time, police aren’t sure why the man chose to brandish a weapon on the street.
No one was hurt.
The man has been arrested and faces multiple gun-related charges.
As a result of the incident a three vehicle crash occurred when people tried to get away from the man. No one was hurt in the crashes.
The incident is still under investigation.
