Saskatoon police say three boys were caught early Thursday morning after a pair of school break-ins.
Police were at Pleasant Hill Community School investigating a break-and-enter just after 1 a.m. when alarms started going off at nearby King George School.
Officers from both patrol and canine units quickly made their way over.
Once there, they saw the school had apparently been broken into.
Police surrounded the building and captured the boys, 10, 13 and 15, as they tried to run away.
Police later confirmed to 650 CKOM that the 10-year-old boy was also picked up in connection to a pair of school break-ins last week.
He had to be released back to his parents as by law, he is too young to face criminal charges.
The 13 and 15-year-old boys each face charges of break-and-enter and theft.
Police said damages are thought to be in the thousands of dollars, with King George school alone believed to have had at least $5,000 worth of damage to its windows.
