Regina police are on the hunt for two people who robbed two different banks Friday afternoon.
Police were first called around 3:20 p.m. to a bank in the 300 block of Albert Street North.
Bank employees told police the man said he had a weapon and obtained an undisclosed amount of money. In a media release, officers said no weapon was seen. The suspect was described as wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and stands about five feet ten inches.
In the second incident, officers were dispatched to a bank in the 3800 block of Albert Street at 4:30 p.m.
This time, police say it was unknown if the suspect had a weapon. According to employee, the man got away with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect in the second robbery was described as wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, jeans and in his late 20’s.
No one was hurt in either incidents. Police said, at this time, they’re investigating the two incidents separately and are looking at the possibility the two crimes are linked.
