A 24-year-old Edenwold man has been charged after a credit card was allegedly stolen and fraudulently used in Regina over the weekend.
On April 22, 2017, around 11:30 p.m., police were dispatched to a business in the 1800 block of Victoria Avenue East for a report of a theft in progress.
An early investigation revealed a man had came in through the back door of the business into an area closed to the public.
The man then allegedly went through employees’ personal belongings, stole items and left in a red truck.
License plate information was obtained and given to police. Police learned the same vehicle was reported stolen earlier in the evening.
Around midnight, one of the victims reported her credit card had been used and police were able to find the business where the use occurred.
Police located the stolen truck and the man was arrested nearby.
Andrew James Debruycker is facing 12 charges including possession of a controlled substance and theft under $5,000.
He appeared in court Monday morning.
