Rush start final weekend of season with a win

With first place in the West already locked up, it’s no surprise the Rush saw their top draft pick lead the way to start the final week of the regular season.

First overall pick Ryan Keenan tallied a goal and four assists to help Saskatchewan beat Colorado 10-9 Friday night.

The Rush trailed 4-2 to start the second quarter before three unanswered goals put them ahead. They would not trail for the rest of the game.

Ben McIntosh had the lone hat-trick of the night while Curtis Knight, Matthew Dinsdale and Mark Matthews each had two.

Aaron Bold made 44 saves in the win.

The Rush close out the 2017 NLL season Saturday night against Calgary.
