Saskatoon police say a call to a home Monday evening has led them to new information in a shooting incident reported over the weekend.
Officers were called to a residence on the 300 block of Avenue K South just before 8 p.m. Monday.
They determined there had been some sort of altercation inside and that a pellet gun had been fired inside the home.
That led to firearms charges against a 19-year-old man.
Police reported that the same suspect is now linked to a mysterious shooting reported Sunday.
At that time, witnesses told police they saw a man with a gun being chased along 22nd Street by two other men, one of whom also had a firearm.
Witnesses also said they heard a shot after the man being chased ran into a business.
On top of his charges from the Monday evening incident, the 19-year-old suspect was also charged with careless use of a firearm, possession of a firearm obtained by crime and possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order in connection to Sunday’s alleged shooting.
