Traffic was restricted on Ring Road by the McDonald Street exit after a crash between a school bus and a pickup truck.
Police said officers were dispatched to the area around 11:56 a.m. Wednesday.
Police added the crash occurred when the pickup truck attempted to switch lanes and contacted the bus’ front bumper — both of which were traveling in the southbound lanes. The truck was carried on the bumper of the bus as it drove into the green space between the south and northbound lanes.
The truck then rolled several times across the northbound lanes, coming to a stop against a fence on the east side of Ring Road.
Police confirm the driver of the bus — the only person in the vehicle at the time — was not injured. The driver of the truck was not seriously injured, but was taken to hospital for assessment.
Police said its investigation is continuing and it is anticipated there will be a charge once its concluded.
