A woman had to be rescued from a second-floor apartment Saturday night, after a fire broke out.
The apartment – located on the 2100 block of Hamilton Street – caught fire just before 7 p.m.
Firefighters were able to get the woman out of the apartment. She was taken to the hospital.
Deputy Fire Chief David Kinvig said her injuries were undetermined.
The rest of the building was evacuated due to the fire. The damage has left other people in the building without a home until Regina Fire and Protective Services deems the building safe. The fire investigator will determine the cause this week.
