RCMP had part of Highway 39 completely blocked off near Weyburn Friday night.
Police were on scene of a serious two vehicle collision, just 3 kilometres north west of the city.
A detour wasn’t put in place Friday night which caused traffic delays for some drivers.
RCMP said a person driving a GMC 3/4 tonne pickup truck travelling south east, collided with a Chevrolet Cruze with two people inside, travelling north west.
STARS Air Ambulance transported the driver of the car to the Regina General Hospital.
