Victoria Day means changes to some city services and facilities hours for Monday.
Garbage collection and recycling is being picked up as usual.
Regina transit is operating on a Sunday schedule, while the paratransit will operating on their holiday schedule from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
People who want to take advantage of an extra day off to get things done can go to Regina’s landfill from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with the entry gates closing at 6:45 p.m.
Good news for people running errands, parking meters are not in effect for the holiday.
Riverside Memorial Park and Regina cemeteries main offices are closed however the gates will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Civic offices are also closed. The Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre and Art Gallery of Regina have free admission today and are open from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m.
The North West Leisure Centre’s open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre is also open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The Fieldhouse and Lawson Aquatic Centre are open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
