Several people taken into custody after incident in Regina

Regina police have wrapped up after an incident on the 700 block of Rae Street Saturday. 

A neighbour told 980 CJME that it all started at 5:30 a.m. SWAT, crisis negotiators and the canine unit were also called in for what Regina police have just called a street robbery. 

That neighbour also told 980 CJME that as many as eight people were taken into custody and that several smoke grenades were also deployed by police.
